Garage sale

On King’s Day we open the doors of the LOLA (loading dock) at the Lange Beestenmarkt and sell everything that is no longer used for charity! For years the technical department has wanted to make room for new equipment, turntables and lamps and to give new life to old equipment that is no longer used. They ask, they sell. Besides equipment we sell old merchandise and drinks. The LoLa soundsystem will play records and we might host an old kingsday tradition…

The proceeds will go to Steunpunt Avalon, which supports young people between 15 and 25 years old who are struggling with themselves and with their lives. These young people come together to talk about their pain points but all with the intrinsic motivation to make something of their lives. Read more about the activities of Steunpunt Avalon here.
