TALKING TONG TONG

Paard van Troje opens up her doors for the swinging talkshow Talking Tong Tong, part of the 57th edition of the Tong Tong Fair.The brothers Timisela will start the evening with their heartwarming act concerning their recently released movie Jefta. The movie's OST features music in which the Moluccan percussion instrument tifa has been used.During a new version of Tifa's & Turntables, (in collaboration with Stg. Moluks Historisch Museum), masterpercussionist Nippy Noya will decode the specific rhythm patterns that Moluccans love so much and DJ Rob Manga will make a selection from his repertoire to illustrate those dancepatterns. The female percussiongroup Sapa Lawan will also perform tonight. A swinging show from the Polynesian dancegroup Maeva, accomponied by percussionist Kaili will wrap up the night.Click here to go the the afterparty event page.
