The international oriented music- and art festival hosts a large variety of acts, offering its audience a broad scope of the current underground- and experimental music scenes. The festival aims to interpret the underlying connections between the present and the past of different art forms. It is exactly these subcutaneous interconnections that give State-X New Forms its inquisitive, unpredictable and exciting character.
On Friday, the first festival day, the curators have focused on progressive Jazz sounds form New York Jazz and London and on music inspired by influences from all over the world.
Saturday’s territory is that of ambient and minimalism with a classical touch and of the crossover between drones, noise and songs.
