Revere’s music is quite easily compared to Elbow, The Verve, and Editors. However, this British band is taking a slightly different approach: with the unexpected addition of violin, cello, wind players, piano and synthesizers, they have proven that they are anything but copycats.

‘The album of the year!’
The band’s first album ‘Hey! Selim’, which was released in 2010, has gained them an impressive fanbase. U.S. based online blog ‘Consequence of Sound’ introduced even more people to Revere’s interesting mix between rock and orchestral music. Major OMH even went so far as to call this album ‘the album of the year’.

Homemade rock ‘n roll
In the last couple of years, Revere has been playing festival like Glastonbury, The Great Escape and Camden Crawl, and have been touring with Grammy-winner Toumani Diabaté. For the creaton of the album ‘My Mirror / Your Target’ the fans were prompted in the form of a crowdfunding-project. In exchange for a donation, te participants received lots of special gifts from the band, ranging from signed piano keys, free visits to the studio, and even homemade cookies. With the latest album in their pocket, the band’s ready to storm the stages once again.

Support act is the alternative rock band The Mad Trist. Their debut album ‘Pay The Piper’ at PIAS in 2001 led to rave reviews and sold out club shows. Following album ‘Animals & Acrobats’ delivers an exiting mix of dark guitars, catchy melodies, hip-hop grooves and trippy vocal harmonies.
