Pondertone is a band formed around Patrick Tersteeg, from Utrecht, the Netherlands. Pondertone bends and shapes entire worlds, with simple language and crisp detail. With influences from roots music, but also pop music (The Beatles, Eels, Blur). Full of peculiar, poignant observations. Often vulnerable, tender – or downright sentimental – Pondertone has it all.
