Ed Struijlaart is een singer/songwriter/gitarist wiens solo carriere in februari 2010 is gestart. Voor deze stap was Ed de drijvende kracht achter de band Stud Muffins. Binnen deze band was hij de frontman en songwriter. Tijdens de 6 jarige carrière van de band werd meer dan 300 keer opgetreden in Nederland en daarbuiten. Een selectie uit Ed’s hoogtepunten: Tour door de USA en Italië. Aandacht op FOX Television (USA) en op de Italiaanse TV. Gespeeld bij De Wereld Draait Door, Tros Muziekcafé, airplay op de nationale popzender 3FM. Maar ook optredens op festivals als Parkpop en Lowlands. Solo heeft Ed ook 2 avonden als support van Maria Mena gespeeld in Paradiso, Amsterdam (check hier voor een opname). Recent nieuws is dat het nummer ‘Against The Wall’ is uitgekozen om onder de Internationale filmtrailer van de Engelstalige remake van ‘Komt een vrouw bij de dokter’ geplaatst te worden. De Engelse versie gaat ‘STRICKEN’ heten. Op dit moment is Ed druk aan het schrijven voor zijn eerste solo plaat. In zijn muziek is hij beïnvloed door o.a.: John Mayer, Gavin DeGraw, Jimi Hendrix, Jason Mraz, Lenny Kravitz and Bill Withers. Fris klinkende popmuziek met blues/soul/rock invloeden. Ed is ook erg actief op sociale netwerksites als Twitter enFacebook, hier houdt hij zijn achterban op de hoogte van het laatste nieuws. In februari 2011 duikt Ed de Motormusic studio in België in om zijn 1e solo cd op te nemen. Deze zal in 2011 verschijnen.
Natazz:
Sinds haar afstuderen heeft Natasja niet stilgezeten; ze zong o.a. in de britpop-band Number Nine, hiphop-formatie HipHopKloon en de coverband Session. Ook heeft ze gedurende de jaren een goedlopende zanglespraktijk opgebouwd. Tegenwoordig is Natasja vooral druk bezig met haar band ‘Natazz’, waarmee ze haar eigen liedjes speelt. Vette pop met een laagje soul en een beetje feel-good is wat ze schrijft en ze hoopt weldra de hele wereld te kunnen lastig vallen met haar muziek.
The men of Little Things That Kill stormed the barricades of the Dutch club and festival scene in 2003 as up and coming band, when they were still called Eleven. The band won the Grote Prijs van Nederland, the Dutch version of the Battle of the Bands, followed by 150 shows in two years’ time. Lowlands, Paradiso, Noorderslag, Parkpop and many other venues and festivals, as well as a show for 50.000 people in Kiev, and a number 0 top-of-the chart placement in the Kink Outlaw 41. The band decided they wanted to go a different road; more exciting, more danceable, more ‘themselves’, and with better songs. So they retreated to a mice-infested car workshop in the forests of the Dutch countryside, and spent two years shaping new songs. The name was changed to Little Things That Kill. The first rough mixes are soon picked up by national radio station 3FM, who proclaimed them Serious Talent at the end of 2009. March 2010 saw the release of the full album.
