The LEGENDS of ROCK Tribute Tour was created to give the best tributebands of Europe a stage in The Netherlands where their powerful shows can be justified. Hereby the audience undergoes the ultimate experience: “With the No. 1 tributes from AC/DC, Iron Maiden and Metallica, we have the opportunity to present the audience with a kick-ass Metal and Rock experience from the highest degree”, says the producer and promoter John Van den Borne (also creator and organizer of ‘The Clash of the Cover Bands’). The first edition of LEGENDS of ROCK Tribute Tour consists twentie shows with different performances in the best venues of The Netherlands like 013 in Tilburg, Paard van Troje in The Hague, de Boerderij in Zoetemeer, de Vorstin in Hilversum and Metropool in Hengeloo.
AC/DCUK (GB)
After five years of touring, AC/DCUK is seen as Europe’s best AC/DC tributeband. With its energetic live shows, the band covers all the decades of the legendary career of AC/DC. From ‘High Voltage’ from 1976, to ‘Black Ice’ from 2008. An AC/DCUK show with worldfamous hits like Whole lotta Rosie, Thunderstruck and Highway to Hell is a guarantee for pure awesomness. Or as the band says: “A high voltage Rock ’n Roll show!”
SANITARIUM (BE)
The Belgian SANITARIUM brings the spirit of the good old Metallica days back. The band focusses not only on the early days of Metallica but plays also songs from the late nineties. Enter Sandman, Master of Puppets, Nothing Else Matters, Seek & Destroy, One,… you can also expect songs like No Remorse and Trapped Under. The band doesn’t only copy the Metallica songs but they provide you with a complete Metallica experience.
POWERSLAVE (NL)
POWERSLAVE was created by the biggest Iron Maiden fans, in 1997. From the moment the band grew and added more songs to the setlist, the number of fans rose. Performances at Paaspop, Sjwaampop and A Tribute to Monsters of Rock proceeded. Everywhere the band performs, a enormes group of fans of the British Heavy Metal band Iron Maiden follows to sing the hits like Fear of the Dark, 2 minutes to Midnight and The Troopers and to enjoy the incredible show.
