Their debut album ‘Tease Me’ appeared in Januari 1994, this included their first six singles and a new variation on George Clinton’s (Parliament/Funkadelic) anthem ‘One Nation Under Groove’. The duo’s second album, ‘She Don’t Let Nobody’ got released in 1995 and became number four in the British album charts and not even a year later , in 1996, their third album ‘For Every Kinda Person’ appeared. After an extended period away from the studio, Chaka Demus & Pliers returned in 2001 with ‘Help Them Lord, released’ ,‘Trouble and War’ in 2003, ‘Back Against the Wall’ in 2005, and their latest album ‘So Proud’ in 2008, while they continued to tour and perform at festivals.
