Wanted: musicians
In the first instance, Beans & Fatback was a project of leadsinger Onno Smit, who wanted to produce a solo album without spending too much money with session musicians. Various artists joined with in exchange a home cooked meal by Onno.
Heavy Rock
Today, Beans & Fatback can without a doupt be called a real band. In September they released their second album named Heroine Lovestruck, which is their heaviest record up to now. The members were inspired by Surf Nuggets, obsure Rockabilly, Exotica, Ethio-Funk grooves and for the not-so-much-music-knowers amoung us: straight forward high energy Rock&Roll.
