Blindsided Records is pas 3 jaar jong en heeft nu al samen met een paar van de grootste namen binnen de Lowlands Hardcore scene gewerkt. Deathtrap en Cornered zijn prachtige voorbeelden, maar ook hebben ze meegewerkt aan de ontwikkeling van verschillende nieuwe acts, zoals Voidcrawler en Swell (dit zal de primeur zijn voor Swell zelfs!). Los daarvan hebben ze shows gehost in o.a. Gouda en Den Haag met namen als Dead Heat (USA), Hawser, Lowest Creature (SWE), Dagger Threat (DE) en meer. Velen zullen zich een dampend Paardcafe herrinneren na een avondje Blindsided Presents.

Cornered
When you say European hardcore it’s impossible not to mention Cornered next. Grinding the asphalt since 2008 they’ve done countless weekenders all over Europe, done more than 10 full European tours and a full USA tour.

Besides being known for their notorious and infamous live shows, the band already has a solid discography. Several full length albums, EP’s and split 7”s have been released in the past ten years and we are proud to put out their 10th release, Failure, on Blindsided Records.

Cornered have recorded 4 tracks for this EP, all in the aggressive NYHC style we know and love them for but still surprisingly fresh and relevant. Recorded during the lockdown with their longtime producer JB van der Wal, the EP is their finest effort yet and a culmination of months of isolation and creative frenzy.

Deathtrap
Starting out in 2013, Deathtrap have been taking their own unique brand of heavy, groovy Southern influenced metallic hardcore all over the world. They have been steadily gaining a reputation as a wild and uncompromising band and have always been known for writing hard hitting tracks that are filled to the brim with a wide variety of riffs. Even though they’ve already been around the block a few times with a demo and a split under their belt, their latest EP ‘Gravestepper’ marks the true beginning of their plan for total domination.

One thing is for sure with this feral five piece from the Netherlands: you either get with it, or you best get out of their way.

Voidcrawler
Voidcrawler will stab you in the guts with overwhelming riffs and misanthropic lyrics. Quickly recognized and picked up by Blindsided Records & the Lowlands Hardcore community due their loud and intense live performance, Voidcrawler grinded multiple stages all over Europe apart. Let you get dragged deep down into the void filled with devastating riffs and stinging vocals.

SWELL
SWELL is a 4 piece hardcore band from Tilburg, signed to Blindsided Records. The band creates a groove orientated style of hardcore that is mixed with fast paced riffs, malicious breaks and vocals that combine heavy hitting screams with melodic singing.
