MA(N|CHINE)
Four percussionists, modified bass drums and various drum robots investigate the relationship between man and machine in the transdisciplinary work Ma(n|chine) by Zeno van den Broek. In the characteristically pared-down yet intense minimalistic visual and musical style of this acclaimed maker, performers from the digital domain enter into dialogue with those of flesh and blood. An overwhelming exploration of the area of tension that exists between the algorithmic and the human in composition and performance.

PAARD x SLAGWERK DEN HAAG
Expect a series of concerts by the top musicians of the innovative Slagwerk Den Haag, custom made for PAARD ‘s Grote Zaal. After more than 40 years, the adventurous group still manages to remain relevant by collaborating and co-creating with leading choreographers, producers and other exciting new makers from various art disciplines. They are currently on tour with Club Guy & Roni with a total remix of the classic Swan Lake, they played on a sculpture by Joep van Lieshout earlier this season and they are preparing a concert with Jameszoo.

Safe concert visit in PAARD
We want to continue as much as possible of the current program in an adapted manner. We do this in the safest way possible and within government regulations. We hope that everyone will continue to do their very best with us to comply with the measures within and outside PAARD. For more information click here.
