The new record will be added to a carefully built body of work, that was created over the past 38 years. The Church has played a much praised show at the Meltdown Festival, on invitation Robert Smith (The Cure), after which the Starfish Anniversary Tour has started.

The Australian Paisley Underground pioneers The Church are back after a short break from touring. The new tour will be their most extenstive one to date. The band celebrates its 40th birthday, which means that all the hits, deep cuts and golden oldies from The Church’s vast discography will be played. From ‘Starfish’ trough ‘The Blurred Crusade’ to ‘Priest=Aura’, all the famous songs! And if that isn’t enough good news, the band will release a new record later this year!
