A long time ago in our royal Hague, Prins S. lived in a tower of up to 42 floors, for those in the know: ‘The Iron’. Composer/producer Marne also found a safe haven there. They met regularly in the common rooms and a beautiful friendship developed. During their games of ping pong, they got talking about goats and music. After hearing Prince S’ demo “Night,” Marne was so excited and immediately started working on the lyrics and mix. Childhood friend Daniel – producer and sound engineer- made the perfect mix. After a matchless two years full of highlights, the charming Prince S. together with his loyal goats released the album ‘Rood Staan Hard Gaan’. A collection of previously released songs along with two new tracks.

Prins S. En De Geit in great hall feels like coming home. That is why we are happy to welcome them back on April 21.

Things are going well for Prins S. En De Geit. After they poured out their first singles over the world from the tower in The Hague, they were allowed to come and show their skills live at many a festival. Noorderslag, Appelpop, Lowlands and many other magical festivals were played completely flat in the summer of 2022 and more and more goats followed Prins S.. Single by single they showed a little more and more of themselves, but the story is not yet finished… The album ‘Rood Staan Hard Gaan’ puts all these singles and new material in the right place, completing the first chapter of Prins  S. En De Geit. Beat professor Daniel fiddles around with the electronic knobs and sliders, Guitar Goat Marne plays his guitar to heaven after a miraculous resurrection, and Prins S. poetically sings of flight into the night. The whole story of Red Standing Hard Going, about Kim, Stefan, Rikkie, Yousef, birds, snakes, a bowl of mayonnaise and going home alone again, can now be experienced in stereo.

Our hearts beat faster with our Hague pride of Prins  S. En De Geit. As a Paard talent, she shared the PAARD vinyl single with Sky Feliz. It can be purchased via here.

Support: Droom Dit

Sex, violence, love and the ordinariness of life. That’s what Droom Dit talks about in Dutch-language poetic lyrics. Their lyrics are enveloped in a modern jacket of raw electronic beats, dreamy guitar lines and cutting synthesizers. The whole thing sounds like the deepest love slowly ebbing away, the deadliness of loneliness or the bloodthirsty urge for peace in your mind.

Inspired by acts such as Spinvis, Radiohead, King Krule, Joy Division and Wende, as well as Dutch literature by the likes of Cees Nootenboom, Droom Dit is developing a recognizable character within contemporary Dutch pop.
