Saturday 14 November 2020

Because of the newly edited Coronameasures of November 3d it isn’t possible to welcome any public in the coming weeks. This means that Mondriaan Jazz will continue in an adapted manner in the form of a livestream. Ticket buyers will receive an email from us. Received nothing? Send a message to [email protected]

Update! There are three new jazz routes for Mondrian Jazz. The extended measures around Corona mean that a maximum of 30 people can be present per room. In order to properly regulate the public flows and to be able to create the Mondrian Jazz feeling in a safe way, a simpler set-up was chosen than before; three jazz routes that still provide a fantastic jazz evening with less audience and less movement between the halls.

Despite the fact that we are not allowed to receive an audience at Mondriaan Jazz Festival, we will still ensure that everyone can admire the crème-de-la-crème of Dutch jazz. Mondriaan Jazz Festival 2020 can therefore be streamed in its entirety on 14 November.

That’s right, that’s 4.5 hours of jazz programming live from our Main Hall. From 19:30 you can join for free via this link, Mondriaan Jazz, the Facebook pages of PAARD, ProJazz and Mondriaan Jazz and through our brand new Streaming partner NPO Soul & Jazz. Mondriaan Jazz 2020 is a collaboration between GOOD Music Company, PAARD and Projazz.

In these times of corona, Mondriaan Jazz makes a virtue of necessity and accepts the challenge of organizing a festival day for jazz lovers that offers both quality and surprise. An exciting experiment, where we can see a fantastic jazz line-up in a safe setting on November 14, 2020.

The complete line-up: Niels Broos x Jamie Peet x Jameszoo // Han Bennink x Reinier Baas x Ben van Gelder // Yuri Honing x Joost Lijbaart x Matteo Myderwyk // Tineke Postma x Sun Mi Hong x Fuensanta Méndez // ALEXANDER // Yoràn Vroom’s Group of Friends // Yannick Hiwat // Harmen Fraanje and Ernst Reijsiger // Marco Santos
