HAAGSCH COLLEGE: MINDER TELEFOON, MEER LEVEN

Going phone-sober

Tuesday 10 November 2026

Endless scrolling on our phones, we all do it, and more often than we’d like. What starts as sending a quick message turns into mindlessly opening Instagram or a news app. Suddenly an hour has passed. We want to do things differently, but almost no one truly manages to break free from their phone. So how do we detach from the device that increasingly controls our lives? And how do you prevent children who are growing up from falling under the spell of the addictive smartphone?

During the theater evening Minder Telefoon, Meer leven, psychologist and young father Thijs Launspach shows you what the attention-grabbing apps of Big Tech are doing to us and how you can have a healthy relationship with your phone. Because we deserve a life where we are less distracted and more focused on the things that truly matter – and so do our children. Minder Telefoon, Meer Leven is an evening that helps both young and old to take their lives back from the phone.
