A mosh pit at a Latin concert? When Maurino Alarcón is on the podium, anything is possible. The Chilean Amsterdammer plays with the energy of his audience like no other, and his Spanish-language socially critical lyrics are always spot on. The former frontman of TenTemPiés and the brains behind Fiesta Macumba presents Maurino with a unique Latin sound in collaboration with keyboardist and producer Jori Collignon (SKIP & DIE). Future Latin, he calls it; reggae drums, jazzy piano, thick bass line. Maurino’s new direction does not shy away from any genre. September 9 you will experience it in PAARD!

Maurino’s deep voice and critical Spanish lyrics have not been lost in the search for an original sound. “A sound of now, with the feeling of then.” After TenTemPiés, Maurino was looking for something new and hungry to tell his own story.
