After a sold-out tour in December 2025, John Illsley returns to the Netherlands. The founding bassist of Dire Straits plays four exclusive shows in honour of the band’s music: from Money for Nothing and Walk of Life to Brothers in Arms, Sultans of Swing and Romeo and Juliet. A rare opportunity to hear Dire Straits live, played by one of the original members.

To my dear music fans,
It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce the cancellation of my upcoming shows in the Netherlands and Germany. I’ve been dealing with ongoing health issues and my doctors have advised me to rest and take time to recover. This has been an incredibly difficult decision. There is nothing I love more than being on stage and sharing music with you, and I’m truly sorry to disappoint everyone who was looking forward to these shows. Thank you for your understanding, patience and support. I never take this for granted.
I promise I’ll be back when the time is right. Until then, please take care of yourselves. I’ll see you down the road.
