BEHIND THE MUSIC MET TIM AKKERMAN [nieuwe datum]

Thursday 15 October 2020 2020

You would think that if you’ve been making music for 20 years, releasing a new album isn’t that exciting anymore. However, nothing could be further from the truth for The Hague musician Tim Akkerman. Because with his latest record Lions Don’t Cry he went back to where he started last year: a rock record that reminds us of his time as frontman of Di-rect. In addition to releasing this brand new album, the musician also participated in Best Singers last year. On October 15th, Tim is a guest at the third edition of Behind The Music in The Hague and tells about all the ups and downs of his musical career, what it is like to continue as a solo artist ‘alone’, to be a family man and what his future plans are.

Please note that this is a Dutch spoken program.

Safe concert visit in PAARD
We want to continue as much as possible of the current program in an adapted manner. We do this in the safest way possible and within government regulations. For this concert it means that a maximum of 30 people can be present who can visit the PAARD. Of course, our (strict) 1.5m measures that have already been implemented will remain in force. There are also a number of new rules: mouth masks are mandatory in the building (except on the seat). The catering is closed and no drinks or food may be consumed. We hope that everyone will continue to do their very best with us to comply with the measures within and outside PAARD. For more information click here.

“ Er raasde tijdens de show van Tim Akkerman nieuwe energie door mijn lichaam heen. Het optreden was een show die je kan vergelijken met een koud biertje op een warme zomerdag. “
