In 2024 and 2025 she performed nineteen sold-out nights of ‘Vrijplaats’ at Carré, with guests including Sef, MEROL, Jacqueline Govaert, Antoon and Naaz. This was followed by a sold-out tour through the Netherlands and Belgium. She has also worked with Dutch orchestras, the Nederlands Dans Theater and Het Nationale Ballet, was nominated for a Gouden Kalf (Golden Calf) as an actress, and performed in the English-language production ‘The Promise’ in cities including New York, Adelaide and Hong Kong.

Wende is one of the most versatile pop artists in the Netherlands. Since 2003 she has released eight albums and won Edisons in multiple categories. ‘MENS’ (2019) won the Edison Pop award; ‘Sterrenlopen’ (2023) entered the Album Top 100 at #2, featuring collaborations with Froukje and S10. At her concerts and festival performances, the same has held true for twenty years: whoever has seen Wende live never forgets it.
