Trafassi is celebrating its 45th anniversary, Edgar Burgos has been in the business for 60 years, and Wasmasjien for 40; in short: this year, the band, founded in 1981, has plenty to celebrate. With an impressive string of hits, collaborations with major artists, and performances on the most diverse stages, Trafassi has grown into one of the most versatile bands in the Netherlands and Suriname. Even new artists like De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig still draw on Trafassi’s musical experience.
Thanks to their musical diversity, the band has performed at stages and festivals in the Netherlands and abroad, including Kwaku, LatinVillage Festival, Lowlands, Holland Zingt Hazes, Pasar Malam and the Zeeuwse Havendagen. On September 23, Trafassi will perform live at PAARD for a unique anniversary concert.
