On May 28, 2021, the single ‘Silver Linings’ will be the first signal from their future album of the same name. The album tells about the quest and finding the beautiful sides of life, especially when life shows bleak times. Tim has thus become the embodiment of positive thinking and has made it his own to give a gloomy situation a positive turn. The past year has given the band the time and space to focus on writing new material. It is an album for all times and is about finding happiness in the smallest things. Friendships, joy and the beauty of life.
Compared to the last album ‘Lion Don’t Cry’, with which Akkerman went back to his roots, the sound is a lot fresher and up to date, but unchanged with the same energy and potent vibe! The album is another great collaboration between Tim and his band The Ivy League and is expected at the end of September this year.
