The Slackers is one of the most popular ska bands for over 28 years now. Although, the group rather calls their music a mix of ska, reggae and soul. The group from New York have fifteen albums on their name and, while some can’t keep up a career this long, they are still full of energy. The Slackers are playing the Kleine Zaal on the 7th of October.

Apart from their thousands of fans, the press is also impressed by the band. Rude International calls the The Slackers “the best ska band in the world” and also the New York Times was convinced of their talents.

PAARD celebrates it’s 50th birthday in 2022 and we will honor that with a spectacular party week in October: PAARD50. From October 21, till October 30 – during PAARD50 – we will celebrate PAARD of the past, PAARD of the future and especially PAARD NOW.
