THE CASUALTIES

'Detonate Europe', In collaboration with Sniester

Saturday 13 June 2026

Studded jacks, mohawks reaching the ceiling, and a circle pit that only ends when the lights come on. On June 13, The Casualties are coming to PAARD, and anyone with even the slightest interest in punk knows what that means. The band built a reputation from New York that few other punk bands can match: over three decades of non-stop touring and a live reputation that has been drawing generations of punks onto the streets. Their sound is a direct line to the streets where hardcore and Oi! meet. Unpolished, loud, and without any respect for mainstream radio.

Their repertoire is packed with singalongs that can be heard in every squat, basement club, and DIY venue from Buenos Aires to Berlin. Lyrics about struggle, brotherhood, and why the system is broken. Not a message for the stage, but conviction that has stood the test of thirty years. This is not a concert to watch from the back with your arms crossed. This is about joining in, singing along, screaming along.

Support: The Prince Albert

A punch with nail polish!
The Prince Albert hails from The Hague and sounds like Motörhead, The Stooges, and The Sweet fought it out together in a pub — and came out as friends. Filthy hard rock with a lick of glam, a trap punk, and lyrics that reeks of sex, drugs, and sweat in leather pants. The band consists of seasoned musicians who know how to make a venue shake, led by a young bitch with a big mouth and a throat that cuts through steel. Think of the sound of a sleazy 70s B-movie you saw too late on TV but never forgot. The Prince Albert is not a band for the faint of heart. Raw, rebellious, and damn stylish with a wink and a knee in your crotch!
