Inspired by the Ghanaian culture of his ancestors, the singer writes his songs. The in October released album Soul Revolution is a good example of those influences. The songs on the album are written in collaboration with Andy Platts (Young Gun Silver Fox), Luke Juby (Emili Sandé and Leona Lewis) and producer TJ Oosterhuis. Retreated in the British countryside, the musicians worked till this album was finished. An album filled with songs where the soulfull voice of Steffen Morrison is used properly.

Steffen Morrison is a Dutch singer, born in Suriname. He obtained his fame participating in the popular televisionshow The Voice Of Holland. Within the first minute of singing, during the blind auditions, al the coaches turned their chair. And why wouldn’t they, the singer is blessed with a great voice that needs to be heard. Untill Morrison was eleven years old, he lived in Paramaribo, where music was a connecting factor between him and his friends. Now the singer made fame in The Netherlands as well.
