SPELLBOUND

Spellbound – the project of Julie Scott and Peter Slager (BLØF) – was born during the lockdown, out of pure love for music. On October 16 you can attend their album release in PAARD. After a Facebook post with a song written by Julie, the project began to take shape. Soon several musicians and friends of the duo were working together on Spellbound. The album enahnces everything they missed so much during the lockdown; being together, love and the atmosphere of late nights by a campfire.

The album was made in collaboration with several musicians and was recorded by everyone individually at home. Despite the fact that all recordings were made separately, the atmosphere of the album is intimate and close. The music video for ‘All is Well’ was produced in collaboration with artist Astrid van der Velde.

The program before and after the show will be provided by De Platendraaier Wim Behre.

PAARD50 // 21 – 30 October
PAARD celebrates it’s 50th birthday in 2022 and we will honor that with a spectacular party week in October: PAARD50. From October 21, till October 30 – during PAARD50 – we will celebrate PAARD of the past, PAARD of the future and especially PAARD NOW.
