Het liefdesverhaal tussen de Australische pianiste/componiste Sophie Hutchings en de piano begon redelijk onzichtbaar. Als klein meisje sloop ze weg om alleen op de piano te kunnen spelen. Ze speelde zachtjes. Bijna stiekem. Later werd het haar handelsmerk. De altijd bescheiden Sophie was nooit van plan om live te spelen, tot haar debuut album ‘Becalmed’ uit kwam, en het publiek al was gevallen voor haar prachtige pianoklanken.
