Oceanic en Greetje Bijma
They come together for a live performance of their new collaborative album ‘Swallow A Party LP’. This unlikely but inspired collaboration connects two generations of Dutch musicians. Through a chance encounter with yeyeh records founder Pieter Jansen, the award-winning Friesian free-jazz vocalist Greetje Bijma wound up in the studio with rising star in the Dutch electronic underground Oceanic, known for his ambient and leftfield techno releases on labels such as BAKK and Nous’klaer Audio.
Mark IJzerman en Sébastien Robert
‘As Above, So Below’ explores the changing landscape of La Araucanía region in south-central Chile through live visuals and sound. This audiovisual performance probes into the dualism of man’s relationship with nature via sonic research made by Sebastien Robert, French sound artist, researcher and master student of The Hague’s ArtScience Interfaculty, and investigative visuals created from satellite imagery as well as microscopic and drone footage by Dutch media artist Mark IJzerman. During a residency in Chile they researched the logging industry that has been eroding the biodiversity of the region, causing disruption to the ecosystem.
Safe concert visit in PAARD
We want to continue as much as possible of the current program in an adapted manner. We do this in the safest way possible and within government regulations. For this concert it means that a maximum of 30 people can be present who can visit the PAARD. Of course, our (strict) 1.5m measures that have already been implemented will remain in force. There are also a number of new rules: mouth masks are mandatory in the building (except on the seat). PAARD’s catering industry is closed, but visitors are allowed to consume their own water. We hope that everyone will continue to do their very best with us to comply with the measures within and outside PAARD. For more information click here.
