QUEEN’S PLEASURE

Wednesday 3 November 2021 2021

On November 3, 2021 you will discover one of the Dutch upcoming brit rock bands from Amsterdam: Queen’s Pleasure. Driven by an uncompromising desire for love, the foursome sounds like a contemporary mix of bands such as Fontaines D.C., The Who and Blur. With the power of the Ramones and the melancholy of The Smiths, a quirky ‘Wall of Sound’ comes your way, exactly what you would expect from a club of post-adolescents. For the recordings, the band works together with producer Edd Hartwell (including The Kooks, Jeff Beck) in Saffron Walden (UK) and Wisseloord Studios. The long-awaited record is slated for the end of the summer.

Alison’s Fall

Heavy, filthy sounds form the basis of Alison’s Fall. Like a force of nature, menacing and ominous, the guitar riffs turn into an explosion of sound. The ‘walk like a badass’ mentality forms the bottom layer, a contrast to the unattainable and mysterious nature of the vocals. The sexiness of Rock ‘n Roll but in the denim jacket of Alison’s Fall. The roots of Alison’s Fall start with brother and sister Pepijn and Floortje van der Kooy. Together with Martin Brummelkamp and multi-instrumentalist Djamilo Both, the band is complete.
