Many residents of The Hague need no explanation about Puur Gelul, but for newcomers we’re happy to explain what to expect: Puur Gelul is an evening full of overwhelming, utterly pointless verbal mayhem. A colorful mix of writers, speakers, storytellers, poets, rappers, and stand-up comedians from all over the country come to The Hague to give literature a “boost.” Fully equipped with a new vocabulary and stomach cramps from laughter, we’ll send you back out onto the street afterward.
