Port of Call is an indie-folk formation from The Hague that doesn’t shy away from the raw edges. The band is inspired by the golden generation of folk musicians (The Weather Station, Florist, Bill Callahan and Phoebe Bridgers), inspired by the morning newspaper you never read or Lou Reed who shameless asks you for a glass of Pernod. Port of Call has grown into a fully-fledged band after ten years as a solo act (and many tours in North America, mainland Europe and the United Kingdom, among others). The band can be seen on November 18, 2022 at PAARD.

Support: Tamara van Esch
Tamara van Esch makes Indietronica-NL pop with a calm voice and personal stories that give hope. Her record ‘Tussen Lagen’ which came out in April, was written with different artists so the songs have a broad and dynamic sound. In addition to her own music, she is also part of the Render Ghosts trio and she plays with Blaudzun.

“ Er is een goede afwisseling gemaakt tussen ingetogen melancholische nummers en energieke uptempo liedjes. De bandbezetting zorgt bovendien voor extra gelaagdheid en dynamiek. De muziek omlijst Van Vliet’s unieke en authentieke stemgeluid tot slot op prachtige wijze “
