Together with her band – consisting of Michi Schwiemann (guitarist), Thijs Rensink (drummer), Peter Hendriks (keyboards), and Kobus Groen (bassist and backing vocalist) – Miss Montreal is a welcome guest at festivals such as De Zwarte Cross, Concert At Sea, and Vrienden Van Amstel Live. As the cherry on top, Miss Montreal headlines Pinkpop in 2018. Additionally, thanks to their strong live performances, the quintet can now proudly boast of many sold-out club and theater tours throughout the Netherlands.
‘The girl from the east’ remains grounded amidst her success and has been organizing her own festival ‘Bierpop’ for years, attracting headliners like Kensington, DI-RECT, and De Dijk. The versatile frontwoman also served as a judge for three seasons on De beste singer-songwriter van Nederland and The Voice Of Holland, and is an ambassador for the Youth Sport & Culture Fund. This year, Miss Montreal is focusing on writing Dutch-language music.
