Those who have already seen this energy bomb live know what to expect. Thus HUMO wrote in all caps after their release show at Trix: “Meltheads gives you wings, but beware, it’s addictive.” Where the top lies, we don’t know, but that it’s going to be top in the coming years with this Antwerp-based post-punk/psych foursome, that’s for sure. Make sure you can say you were in the front row to receive that musical headbutt!

Meltheads, a garage and post-punk band hailing from Antwerp, is no longer an unknown on the Belgian music scene. They consist of vocalist Sietse Willems, bass guitarist Tim Pensaert, drummer Simon de Geus and guitarist Yunas de Proost. With their debut album “Decent Sex,” they are now also putting themselves on the map internationally. Described as “bawdy and addictive” by De Morgen, this album has served as the catalyst for their rising recognition. Meltheads will be at PAARD on December 12, 2024!
