In 1989, La DS opened its doors. The first House club in The Hague was named after the Citroën DS convertible on the stage in which a DJ booth was built. The psychedelic decor and quality House soon attracted dance/music lovers, night owls, free spirits and other birds of paradise from far and wide to the royal city. The unique atmosphere, extravagant dancers, colorful visitors and theme parties set the tone until the closure in 1997. In 2022, the team behind La DS was back with a new concept: The Face Lift. This first edition in PAARD was a great success and presented the free and creative atmosphere of the past combined with the best that the 21st century has to offer. On October 14, PAARD will return to this legendary club.

The second edition brings us a glimpse into the future. Expect a top selection of the best House music from the last 3 decades presented by House DJs from the very beginning. In addition to resident La DS DJs RAMON and PAUL FUNK, House pioneer DJ PIERRE from the USA, inventor of the Acid House in the late 1980s, will also show us all the colors of the house spectrum this year. And LUCIEN FORT completes this great line up! In 1991 the La DS DJs already played his world hit Quadrophonia and now he takes place behind the turntables himself.

Of course the visuals, show and dance by the extravagant performers and stylists will not be missing. You do not want to miss this!
