HEATHER NOVA

Tuesday 22 October 2019 2019

A smooth angel-like voice and a girly appearance: we are all in love with Heather Nova. The Bermudan singer-songwriter broke through with her debut album ‘Oyster’ in 1994. The popicon gave a boost to the 90’s with beautiful, americana popsongs. The Netherlands loves her and she loves the Netherlands: she performed many times at festivals like Lowlands and Pinkpop and made an English rendition of the song ‘Mooie Dag’ by Blof during Vrienden van Amstel.

25 years after the release of ‘Oyster’, Heather returns with a new (to be released) record called ‘Pearl’. She says the following about the album: “A pearl is hopefully what forms inside an Oyster after all the years, the accumulation of experience, the saltwater, the sand”. Come see for yourself at October 22nd at Paard!

“ De songs voeren je weg van de dagelijkse drukte en sleur, omarmen je en brengen je vervolgens naar je favoriete plek op aarde “
