Seven years ago, after an acting career, Fatoumata Diawara put herself in the spotlights with her debut album ‘Fatou’. This seemed to have been a good choice as her career went very well and she even got to work together with Cuban pianst Roberto Fonseca. After a period of beautiful moments and releasing a live album it was about time for a new solo record. And so that was made! In the beginning of 2018 ‘Fenfo’ was suddenly there, which can be translated as ‘Something To Say’.
