DOUBLE BILL: JAH / STAY AWAY FROM DANTE

On May 1st, Amsterdam Hip Hop artist’s JAH & Stay Away From Dante join forces for a new Double Bill show at Paardcafé! With Double Bill we are pairing two acts that we think are a musical match. Two main acts, double discovery, double fun.

JAH, a modern Hip Hop artist from Amsterdam, is causing a stir in the music world with his own style of Hip Hop and his compelling lyrical skills. JAH finds inspiration in his city’s diverse population and rich cultural heritage. With his music, he crosses conventional boundaries with a primary genre of hip hop that incorporates components of R&B, soul and even electronic music. His lyrics, which explore social issues, personal experiences and the difficulties of modern life, make his music so powerful and real. His captivating storytelling skills, combined with his fluid and flexible flow, attract listeners and make a lasting impression.His avant-garde music pushes the boundaries of the genre and gives his audience a new and exciting listening experience.

Stay Away From Dante! AKA Emmanuel Adomah Boateng or in short Dante is an artist/producer/songwriter from Amsterdam-Zuidoost.

He is inspired by a multitude of artists such as The Beach Boys, The Strokes, Stevie Wonder, Pharrell Williams, Tyler, the creator and Kanye West.
With his music, Dante tries to awaken feelings of love, youth and similar emotions in people. He does this with his personal lyrics and dreamy instrumentals. He is also driven to expand the creative horizons of the Dutch music industry by presenting his music and art in a unique way.
