Isabeau van den Bogaert
Isabeau van den Bogaert hails from Ghent, is known from nowhere and for nothing except her boundless appetite for life. She writes in Flemish about everything that is loose and fixed within us, and until last week, hammered her poetry exclusively onto the stages of meeting rooms. Isabeau is the winner of the Hasselt preliminary round & the Belgian national final.
Olivier van Eijk
Olivier (1998) is a creative practitioner who prefers to engage with as many disciplines as possible. Among other projects, he created the audio plays Aleno’s Reservaat and De Blauwe Waterspiegel, co-wrote the graphic novel Guardians of Grunn, performed with Oefeningen in het Onbekende at Het Grote Gebeuren and Terug naar het Begin, published the short story Slakkensporen with De Optimist and the screenplays Alex and De Kwelderbuurt on Finalfinal, and co-founded the poetry platform Natte Neuzen.
This year, he will be working on a short film about modern masculinity and a narrative podcast tracing his grandmother’s life story through family interviews. He will also be appearing on various poetry stages across the country. His favorite projects are like house parties that got out of hand: you have no idea how you ended up there, yet you want to stay as long as possible.
