This versatility was rewarded in 2012, 2014, and 2018 at the World Choir Games with first place in the Jazz and Pop categories. Even the summers of 2016 and 2018 were concluded with dazzling shows at the international festival Sziget in Hungary. In 2022, Dekoor won its category of pop/gospel/spiritual/folk at the Concours International Choral in Provence, France.

Dekoor Close Harmony is more than just a choir – it consists of 31 young musicians, driven by the inexhaustible passion of musical leader Christoph Mac-Carty. Dekoor has been at the forefront of the world for years and always keeps moving forward. This energy is palpable wherever Dekoor is found. In recent years, Dekoor has performed multiple times in various Dutch theaters (including TivoliVredenburg and the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam), but has also been visible in performances with major artists, such as collaborations with The Rolling Stones at Pinkpop, with DI-RECT at the Ziggo Dome, and contributions to various TV programs.
