Vjèze Fur, WiWa, Faberyayo, and producer Bas Bron broke through in 2005 with the smash hit “Watskeburt?!” In the same year, they performed for the first time at Lowlands and released their debut album “Parels Voor De Zwijnen.” With their catchy, genre-defying sound, they paved the way for hip-hop to reach mainstream audiences in the Netherlands and Belgium. In 2006, De Jeugd won both a 3FM Award and an Edison in the category of Best Newcomer.

Following that, they released hits like “Sterrenstof” and “Get Spanish,” along with several albums: “De Machine” (2008), “De Lachende Derde” (2010), “Ja, Natúúrlijk!” (2013), and “Manon” (2015). In February 2018, their sixth album “Luek” was released, followed by their seventh album “Anders” (Different) in November of the same year. In 2023, their eighth album “Moderne Manieren” is released.
