HOST
Jermaine Berkhoudt

Besides his sidequests as Host, MC, Sound Designer and Actor. Jermaine Berkhoudt joined the then local indie hiphop label ‘VanIeder1’ (2010-2015) as a young rapper at the age of 19. As former vocalist/frontman of the band ‘Funky Organizers’ (2014-2017) he was one of the best booked bands during the Poprond’15, during their tours through France and their fully scheduled summer tours along major festivals, he gained a lot of experience with live music.

The Tonal Few

After touring Europe for two years, The Tonal Few STEPS presents their first studio album. True to the party-jazz label, the album is full of energy, groove, and cheerfulness, yet at the same time very honest about the challenges we all face at different stages of our lives. The music reflects bandleader Antonin’s background, ranging from classical percussion to many other styles and instruments, resulting in a mix of influences that gives the music its unique sound.

The album, recorded over three intense days, is a true test, with the band focusing on production, layering, and overdubs, in contrast to the freedom of their live performances. “It shows where we stand now, and now that we accept that, let’s dance.”

Diana Dhazzabar

Diana Dhazzabar is an Afro-Ukrainian saxophonist/artist based in Amsterdam. She plays with bands and artists such as Bnnyhunna, Brintex Collective, IGOR, etc. She also contributed to the album of American artist José James. Diana is currently working on her first EP, which will be released in September of this year. Her sound is inspired by jazz, neo-soul, and electronic music, shaped by both her Afro-diasporic roots and her Eastern European background. This project marks an exciting new chapter in her artistic journey and showcases her personal sound and vision as a performing artist and composer. The audience can expect an intimate yet powerful musical experience that reflects her unique background and ever-evolving artistic talent.

Tallulah Rose

ROSEYE is a young powerhouse band fresh on the international scene. ROSEYE channel Soul, Funk, Jazz, Hip-hop, Classical, Punk and Electronic music into a sound that’s both genre-fluid and unmistakably their own. Roseye formed in Amsterdam in 2023 with musicians emerging from five corners of Europe; Scotland, Poland, Lithuania, Germany, and the Netherlands. Their sound is intuitive, expressive, and fiercely original – marked by a deep commitment to sonic exploration and social commentary and with a strong
foundation in musical craft, performance and a palpable onstage chemistry, Led by Scottish frontwoman Tallulah Rose, a commanding presence on vocals and tenor saxophone, the band have a spiritual, political message. Poetic and grounded reflections traversing nature, war, grief, healing, sexuality, and love. Their debut album ‘Every Move’ (Supersonic Jazz, April 2024) introduced a rich and expansive sonic palette, followed by the EP ‘Ways of Speaking’ (Backboard Music, April 2025), which deepened their voice and reach.

After short introduction sets from the artist, there’s plenty room to jam. We’re creating a new space where musicians and music lovers can come together, connect, and build relationships through their shared love of musical exploration.

About our partners:

OSHI is a platform for talent development that creates fertile ground for driven musicians and aspiring creative professionals through collaboration and connection. Our vision is to become a leading entity within the Dutch music industry for R&B, soul, jazz, hip-hop, and related genres. OSHI was founded in collaboration with a strong network of partners, including House of Knowledge, Orisun Studio, PAARD, Super-Sonic Jazz, Paradiso, BIRD, Patronaat, and INI Movement.

The Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, founded in 1826, is the oldest conservatoire in the Netherlands. It combines tradition with innovation and is renowned for its excellent jazz department, providing an inspiring environment for musicians and dancers from all over the world.

Community Connector: Babin

Born in Nepal and raised in Barcelona, Babin Olano moved to the Netherlands five years ago to study jazz guitar at the Royal Conservatoire. Since then, he has performed at festivals such as North Sea Jazz Festival, Sniester Festival, Prinsjesnacht, Scheveningen Surf Festival, and Uit Festival, and played in venues like Melkweg, BIRD, PAARD Café, Café September, and Zwarte Ruiter. These experiences have given him valuable insights into how strong and sustainable live music communities are built.

What excites him about Dune Sessions is its potential to become a true meeting place for emerging voices, collaboration, and experimentation. While he has experienced vibrant jam sessions in cities like Amsterdam (Supersonic Jam) and Barcelona (Marula Café jams), I see a clear opportunity to further develop that same energy in a unique way in The Hague.
