Docherty signed at [PIAS] and he played a packed show at Carré. Like it was nothing. Even though he has this sudden success, he still likes to perform on the streets. ‘’ every town I go to I immediately want to get on the streets, for me that’s the perfect way to write new songs and try them out at the same time’’. His single ‘Hold Me’ is a great example of this working method.

His virtuous  guitar style earns him credits and it shows the influences of John Martyn and Tommy Emmanuel. Luckily Daniel pays The Hague a visit at March 22nd 2018. So keep your eyes open in the city centre and come and pay him a visit here at Paard!

“ With an affecting, soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics, Docherty’s busking experience has really moulded him. “
