Although instrumental music was never something she seriously considered doing before her debut, after FOR GRANTED she returned to the piano more and more often, looking for simplicity and comfort. Eventually came her second album, A MILLION TINY LENSES, again created in a single day. This second record is a tribute to the beauty found in simplicity, the comfort in times of uncertainty, and giving yourself the chance to feel rather than think.

Martine Laetitia (Merit) Visser is a versatile songwriter and performer. We already knew her as pop songstress LIJO and founder of the indie band Ilen Mer, but under the name AMIMEA she explores the core of her passion for music: the piano. Her debut album FOR GRANTED was written in a day, when she was looking for a distraction from the noise and buzzing silence during the 2020 lockdown.
