In recent years, Immersion has also collaborated with artists such as Tarwater, Laetitia Sadier, Ulrich Schnauss, Scanner, Thor Harris, Cubzoa, and SUSS in their ongoing Nanocluster series of events and albums. The collaboration with SUSS resulted in a month-long US tour in March/April 2025, as well as the album. With their second UK tour in as many years (in support of the album WTF??), Malka and Colin played more shows in 2025 than in any previous year, and for an ever-growing audience. The pair also has a weekly music radio show called Swimming In Sound and plays in the band Githead, along with Robin Rimbaud (Scanner) and Max Franken.

Immersion consists of Malka Spigel and Colin Newman, best known for their work with Minimal Compact and Wire. The project originated in the early 1990s and has always prided itself on the diversity of its approach and its ability to be both self-contained and a platform for collaboration. Low Impact (1999), Sleepless (2018), and WTF?? (2025) cover very different aesthetic perspectives.
