Before she was 9 years old, Akua Naru was only familiar with the gospel genre. When she got in touch with the genre; hip-hop it changed everything for her, In 2011, American singer Akua Naru broke through with her debut album ‘The Journey Aflame’. Now almost 11 years later, she is already 4 albums richer and a 5th is on the rise.

We were very much looking forward to the upcoming tour dates 2023, but unfortunately we have to cancel them for an important reason. The reason for the cancellation is indeed great news: Akua Naru will become a mother for the second time and is expecting shortly before the announced dates. Therefore it is of course not possible for her to go on an extended tour. We kindly ask for your understanding. In the coming weeks we will think about possible tour dates in the future and communicate them.
