First five names for Grauzone Festival 2024 announced

Grauzone festival returns 9-11 February 2024 for its 11th edition in The Hague, The Netherlands. We’re thrilled to reveal a glimpse of the first few artists. Early bird tickets are on sale from tomorrow.

The first few names include Drab Majesty, Buzz Kull, Powerplant, SDH & General Dynamics. After the summer, Grauzone will announce many more artists. For the 10th edition in 2023 the organisation reduced their tickets with 12,50 and will stick with this reduced price. Natasja Alers explains: Although the costs are very high for us as a festival, we want to keep the festival accessible for everybody and give an answer to the rising costs in society’’. On Friday at 12:00, limited early bird passe-partouts will go on sale for €85 excluding service charges via PAARD’s website (www.paard.nl).

LA synth duo Drab Majesty will finally return to Grauzone festival in 2024 and this time for real ;). They just released a new EP ”An Object in Motion” mixing shoegaze and gloomy synthpop with Slowdive singer Rachel Goswell singing along on one of the songs. Powerplant from the UK mixes lo-fi garage synth punk and stretches the borders of all sorts of genres. For fans of Devo, Tubeway Army and The Screamers. Buzz Kull is Sydney based producer Marc Dwyer, mixing
industrial darkwave, minimal synth & post punk on analog synths.

Spanish synthpop duo SDH (Semiotics Department of Heteronyms) mixes synth-pop songs, sprinkled with EBM and techno, mysterious and suggestive. The duo is a main project of two key figures of the synth-wave/industrial scene of Barcelona. Both, founders of the Cønjuntø Vacíø label and also in the experimental post-punk band Wind Atlas, unveil a new act more oriented towards pop music.

General Dynamics is the new collaborative project of recording artists SARIN & QUAL (William Maybeline of Lebanon Hanover), hailing from Berlin & Athens. The duo has recently unleashed their debut full length 12” “WEAPONIZE YOUR DREAMS”, a tightly focused industrialized techno & electronic body horror bloodbath clocking in at 37 minutes and set to destroy anything that moves. This will be one of their first shows ever!

After the summer we will announce much more artists from the general program, but also art, film
and performances.
