Pre-round Talent Event

Pre-round of Talent Event, The Hague’s coachingprogram for young musical talent under 19 years old.

Young musicians under 19 years old from The Hague and suburbs are participating to the music competition of TALENT EVENT. All genres are allowed, from rock tot hip hop, from jazz to dance, from singer/songwriter to metal and punk. Young people can apply as a band or solo-artist. When acts are formed by more than one person, the halve of the group (or more) should be under 19 years old. Also, halve of the group (or more) should live in The Hague or the suburbs (Delft, Rijswijk, Westland, Leidschendam/Voorburg, Wassenaar and Zoetermeer).

Talent event program

To apply to the music competition of TALENT EVENT, musicians need to have their own music and apply to the auditions in December in music centre Musicon (live acts) and in Den Haag FM’s studio in radioshow Young Agga (hiphop). After that the pre-rounds in February are at Musicon, Haags Pop centrum, Saturnus and Paardcafé. The final is planned March 24^th 2018 in Paard’s big hall.

Finalists of TALENT EVENT have chances to win different prices, such as a cash amount of a thousand euros, vouchers to spend at Rockpalace Keymusic, recordings in The Hague’s Basementstudio, a ton of media-attention, festivalperformances in 2018 (including Bevrijdingsfestival The Hague, Haagse Pop Week, Schollenpop, Kaderock and I Love Hiphop). Website 3VOOR12/Den Haag rewards the winner with a photoshoot and performance during a Club 3VOOR12/Den Haag night in the Paardcafé. Also, the winner gets a year free practice space in the Haags Pop Centrum and professional guidance with further developments from HPC Music Support./
