URBAN VOODOO MACHINE

Friday 26 April 2013 2013

The London based Urban Voodoo Machine found their inspiration in the spirit and atmosphere of circus & fairs. This band effortlessly switches between uplifting danceable songs and heavy pounding dead marches. Their musicality and skills to get the crowd dancing were very well received on numerous festivals and will now be celebrated in clubs too.

Besides the traditional guitar-piana-drums-bass combination, they are surprisingly skilful in playing the violin, trumpet, banjo, contrabass, gong, mandolin, harmonica, saxophone and many other “exotic” instruments. This lovely chaotic sound proved to be very popular on many international festivals. Glastonbury, Download, Bestival, Bulldog Bash and Hard Rock Calling were lining up to get them so we are thrilled to have them on our stage.

Are you ready some Bourbon- Soaked- Gypsy- Blues- Bop ‘N’ Stroll? We hope you are, because once you’ve had a taste of this you’ll beg for more.
