Steph Cameron
The long-awaited second album by Steph Cameron ‘Daybreak Over Jackson Street’ was released on April 14, 2017. The Saskatoon-based roots-singer / songwriter arrived as a gust of fresh musical air with her debut album ‘Sad-Eyed Lonesome Lady’ from 2014 that received unanimously many enthusiastic reviews. Just like her debut, the album was recorded in Elite Toronto Studio Revolution Recording with producer Joe Dunphy. It retains the scarce template of its first album: one voice, one guitar. Both recorded in an intimate way and on tape.
Twin Bandit
While the girls from Twin Bandit were working on their second album, the appropriate title ‘Full Circle’ grew. The duo Hanna Walker and Jamie Elliot progressed through the years and experiences as songwriters and musicians. With a subtle extension of their sonic palette of folk, a little alternative, nationally and with the most sincere texts like never before. The new album ‘Full Circle’ represents the next chapter of a journey that these two musicians started four years ago. As much as ‘Full Circle’ lives up to its name, it also represents something of a new beginning for Twin Bandit.
