TESSA ROSE JACKSON

Thursday 3 October 2013 2013

Support: Sue the Night. After attending the BRIT school (where musicians like Adele, Amy Winehouse and Kate Nash have studied) in London,  Tessa Rose Jackson is back in The Netherlands with her debut album. Tessa Rose Jackson’s folk pop songs are popular sing-a-longs for daydreaming crowds, for example the hitsingle ‘All The King’s Horses’ from her debut album ‘The Sandbox’. Her sound is best to be described as a more accessible Feist mixed with a more poppy Fleet Foxes. In addition she uses many instruments live:  from a mandolin to a piano,  from a xylophone to a trumpet. A delight for music fans all over the world.Support act of the night is Sue The Night. Sue manages to belance, with  just a few chords and her versatile voice, an atmosfere that's between melancholic and 'feel good vibe'. The use of polyphonous (many-voiced) singing and subtile instumentals bring out the strenghts of her songs: energetic, sweeping but also intense and modest.
