SLOPER

In the summer of 2023, for personal reasons, British vocalist/guitarist Pete decided to take a new course and leave SLOPER. Things looked somber for the band for a while at that point. The remaining band members Mario Goossens, Cesar Zuiderwijk and Fabio Canini were faced with a dilemma as the gentlemen had already started working on new recordings. What to do? They called in Jan Bas and Bas Soetens and continued working on new material for a second round. The new tracks meanwhile promise much more than the “classic rock”‘ on debut album “Pulverise”. Of course, the ‘rock’ still forms the basis of the Sloper DNA but now a lot of other influences are added, resulting in a surprising and diverse album.

In the meantime, the band signed a contract with Warner Music. A first single ‘Therapy’ will be released in late February and the release of a new album is scheduled for September. On the 26th of November, the band set all their sights on demolishing the Grote Zaal.
